Production and Service Company “Pomel” Ltd. has been existed since 31th May 1989. It was established on the base of POM (State-owned Engineering Centre), which repaired and serviced agriculture machines. At the beginning we leased a little production hall, where electrification devices and fly killers were produced. In those days the company employed 27 people, mainly former employees of POM.
In 1991 the Company signed a leasing agreement with the managing board of Wyszków district, on the basis of which it leased objects, grounds and machines after POM. The number of workers rose to 38 people.
Great commitment of the staff and good competences of the management enabled systematic development of the company. Starting cooperation with car industry, expanding production in the scope of products for agricultural industry and developing cooperation with foreign companies resulted in strengthening the company's position on the market and improved its financial condition.
In 1993 next leasing agreement with the managing board of Wyszków district was signed. In 1995 the company bought from the Geophysical Searching Company further objects and grounds enabling the company's development.
In 2003 the company awarded the quality system certificate, confirming fulfilment of the norm PN-EN ISO 9001:2001.
At present, the staff with 200 employees works in four departments producing wide range of products with high reputation among clients.
